Course overview

A renewables engineer is a highly trained professional responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising renewable energy systems, such as wind, solar, and hydro, to ensure efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy generation while minimising the risk of system failures or performance issues.

Upon completing this course and Level 3, learners will gain the industry recognised Global Wind Organisation (GWO) qualification. The Basic Technical Training (BTT) is required for working in the Renewable Energy Sector as a Wind Turbine Technician.
