How we can support your studies
Don’t let any potential cost of study put you off joining TTE, we provide full-time students a comprehensive financial support service to support you during your studies.
There is lots of support available at TTE to help you get funding and save money whilst studying with us. There are a range of funds available to support learners who need it most so if you think you might struggle to cover the cost of coming to college don’t worry – we are here to help.
Financial Support On Offer
Learners aged between 16-18 years will not be required to pay for their studies.
Certain students may be able to claim a bursary of £350 per year. These are means tested and subject to status. Bursaries are linked to attendance, performance & behaviour.
If you are currently receiving free school meals at school, this will continue at TTE.
You may be able to receive help with equipment, uniform and/or kit costs & mandatory residentials depending on your personal circumstances. Certain categories of full-time students can apply for additional help from the social security system
Care to Learn provides financial support to parents under the age of 20 with the costs of childcare to ensure they are able to continue in education. Some young parents will also be eligible for Universal Credit, in which case they are entitled to a £1,200 Bursary.
