Instrumentation

Train with Industry Experts at TTE

Instrumentation students

Instrumentation is crucial to all industries to allow a safe and precise operations of process.

The key roles of instrumentation are to:

  • Provide fully automated process control to set limits
  • Ensure the safety of the process and employees
  • Quality assurance and efficiency
  • Data collection and analysis

TTE offers a hands-on programme designed to provide both practical and theoretical knowledge of the essential skills required on instrumentation control and measurement systems. Our course focuses on calibration, testing and fault finding of instrumentation used to measure the four main process variables: pressure, temperature, flow and level.

Delegates will gain hands-on experience in real-case scenarios. They will work with instrumentation within the calibration workshop and simulation plants, which will assist in increasing productivity and minimising downtime.

CourseDescription
Instrumentation for Non-Instrument PersonnelThe aim of the course is to give non-instrument personnel a practical understanding of instrumentation. At the end of the course, they will be able to recognise and understand:

· The operation of various pressure elements/instruments
· The operation of various level measurement techniques/instruments
· The operation of various flow and temperature measurement techniques
· The operation of various control valves, trims and their uses
· Control terminology
