• Mandatory Unit – Fundamentals of Process Chemistry
• Mandatory Unit – Process Plant and Process Plant Services in Process Industries
• Optional Unit – Processing Fluids in Process Industries
• Optional Unit – Processing Solids in Process Industries

Various dates available. Students will study 1 day, between 2pm – 4pm.

The Level 2 qualification is aimed at candidates who are working in, or would like to work in a process technology role. Ideally, you will have some relevant skills and knowledge, usually from a role where you have been supervised. You may be looking to attend this course to help with career progression in one of the following roles: Chemical Engineering Technician Chemical Plant Process Worker Engineering Maintenance Technician Oil and Gas Industry Technician Polymer Technician Pharmaceutical Technician

Although City & Guilds do not have set entry requirements for this qualification, it is recommended that the course delegate has a minimum of GCSE Grades C or above in Maths, English and Science. The recommended guided learning hours for this course are, as a minimum, 10 hours of home study per week.

You are required to undertake an exam at the end of each unit. It is imperative that you are available to attend on your exam date. In circumstances where you are not available to attend, we can re-arrange the exam but please be aware that additional fees will apply.

If you fail to meet the required criteria, you will have the opportunity to resit the examination. Any resit/resubmission fees are in addition to the course price.

You are required to bring photographic identification to the exam (i.e. passport/driving licence).
