Course overview

This course has been developed to promote the Working at Heights Regulations that came into force on 6th April 2005.

Aims

Working at Heights aims to help your organisation be legally compliant with the Work at Height Regulations. It is designed to promote a culture within your business that encourages everyone to consider the risks associated with working at heights, and follow safe procedures whilst undertaking work.

Objectives

The course has 4 learning outcomes.

At the end of the programme the delegate will be able to:

  • Understand the legislation for working at heights HSS1, 5, 8, 14
  • Understand the safe user and potential dangers of access equipment – HSS1, 1-4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14
  • Understand the process of inspection and certification of access equipment. HSS1, 1-14
