Aim: To give non-electrical personnel the electrical skills to carry out some electrical tasks, mainly disconnection and reconnection of motors
Specific Objectives
•Understand the dangers of electricity
•Make isolations & restorations to a competency required for the tasks to be undertaken
•Understand basic electrical theory
•Be able to terminate and gland cables
•Use of Multimeters and assorted Test Meters
•Correct disconnection and reconnection of motors in various positions.
•Klixon (thermistor) and motor heater knowledge.
•Minor Works Certificate.
