Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Electrical) – Level 2

Modules offered may vary. Modules will include:Working safely in an engineering environmentCarrying out engineering efficiently and effectivelyUsing and communicating technical information Wiring and testing equipment Assembling wiring and testing electrical panels/components mounted in enclosures Maintaining electrical equipment/systems

3 days per week.

You must have acheived at least a grade 3(D) in GCSE English, maths and science.

You will be assessed through observation (with appropriate witness testimony), short online testing and on-going assignments.

This qualification will provide you with a range of transferable skills so that you can progress onto a Level 3 Study Programme, an Apprenticeship or Employment.The College Careers Service is available to all our students. We can help you when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide information, advice and support when completing your course and progressing to work or going into further education.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home- fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.If you are aged 19 or over, you may be required to pay fees depending on your residency status, educational background and personal circumstances. Many people qualify for free tuition fees, for more information please contact Course Information on 01642 333333.
